Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital Starts Service

 

The Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital in the DPRK started its service on November 1.

The hospital, located in Munsu area of Pyongyang, has a four-storied outpatient ward arranged with rooms for treating various eye diseases and an inpatient ward built as green architecture.

According to Ri Myong Chol, a medical worker of the hospital, there are also a modernly-equipped operating theater and an eye-glass shop serving all kinds of spectacles, including contact lens, swimming goggles and magnifier. Every visitor to the hospital drops in at the shop.

Im Dong Sun, an old citizen residing in Ryukgyo-dong No. 2, Phyongchon District of Pyongyang, said after getting an eyesight test at the hospital that he wanted to express his heartfelt thanks to supreme leader Kim Jong Un for having provided such superb hospital.
