Housing Construction in Disaster Areas of DPRK

The construction of houses is progressing apace in Heoryong City, one of the flood-hit areas in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK.

The soldier-builders in charge of the housing construction in the city carried out the ground-making for houses for 1,800 families at over 90 percent while producing more than one million blocks.

Thanks to their devoted efforts, 50-odd apartment houses for nearly 1,000 families took their shapes in Obong area alone.

Such progress in housing construction is also made in other areas of the city.

The solider-builders are doing as much as possible to raise the speed of rehabilitation and construction in the disaster areas.
