WPK’s Politics Turning Misfortune into Blessing
 

There is no emergency for the Party than the pain of the people and no important revolutionary work is as crucial as alleviating their misfortune, according to an appealing call released by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on Sep 11.
  Upon receiving the appealing call, people in the DPRK are recalling those days when a miracle was wrought in Rason City.
  In August 2015, downpour and flood hit Sonbong area of the city.
  At that time, supreme leader Kim Jong Un convened an enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the WPK, at which he issued an order of the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army to mobilize KPA units for completely restoring the flood-stricken Rason City before the founding anniversary of the Party.
  In hearty response to the order, the soldier-builders had fully displayed the spirit of at a go in the campaign to heal the flood damage.
  They finished the framing of over 1 300 houses in ten days. It took only 30-odd days for them to turn the area into a fairyland of socialism.
  Thanks to the WPK's loving care for the people, new fascinating villages came into being in Sonbong area of Rason City and a sound of hurrah for the WPK, socialism and the army-people great unity reverberated far and wide.
  Now, the northern areas of North Hamgyong Province was flooded by heavy rain, but the DPRK people are convinced of a victory in their reconstruction with their absolute trust in the WPK.
