Youths of Virtue Increase in DPRK
 

Many persons of virtue have appeared one after another among the young people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea this year.

It was reported that Han Myong Ho, a member of the youth subworkteam at the Usan Co-op Farm in Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province, jumped into a cold river to rescue a drowning woman early in January. Such good deeds were done by thousands of youths in the county.

In Kangwon Province, more than ten youths readily donated their skins to a worker who got burns by accident.

In Nampho City, at least 28 000 youths, including students, have participated in a drive to take warm care of war veterans and disabled soldiers.

In North Hamgyong Province, 50-odd youths displayed the spirit of devotedly defending the leader under the critical circumstances and ten other young men and women volunteered to get married to disabled soldiers. Similar good traits were shown by more than 300 young people in the province.

Such practices give a glimpse of the true picture of the DPRK, a youth power.
