WPK, Party Based on Unity of Ideology and Will

The history of leader Kim Jong Il's guidance over the party is woven with the struggle to thoroughly establish the party's monolithic ideological and leadership system based on the Juche revolutionary outlook on the leader.

In his early years, Kim Jong Il clarified in a scientific way the position and role of the leader in the revolutionary struggle and formulated the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as Kimilsungism.

Under his wise guidance, the WPK was modeled on the idea of its leader and strengthened into an invincible vanguard acting as one under the monolithic guidance of the leader. Consequently, all its members got armed with Kimilsungism and the entire party achieved unbreakable unity on the basis of loyalty to the leader.

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un said, in his report at the 7th WPK Congress, it is a valuable fruition of Kim Jong Il's unique idea and theory on party building and his distinguished leadership that the WPK has developed into a revolutionary party of Juche type, the party of the leader, and achieved remarkable successes in carrying out the cause of the Juche revolution.

In the new century of Juche, the WPK formulated the revolutionary ideas of the great leaders as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism while further enriching it as the eternal guiding ideology in the era of independence.

Kim Jong Un has wisely led the work to imbue the party and revolutionary ranks with one ideology, adhering to this as the seed and core of the struggle for establishing the party's monolithic leadership system.

That's why all the members of the WPK now share thought with the Party Central Committee, breathe the same breath as it and keep pace with it under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Thanks to the strict establishment of the monolithic leadership system, all the members of the WPK from its Central Committee to a party cell are replete with the revolutionary discipline and militant trait of devotedly implementing its decisions and orders.
