Natural Mineral Pigment Developed in DPRK

A natural mineral pigment was developed in the DPRK with domestic raw materials and technology.

This green product is used in the field of building-materials industry as a main raw material for the production of multipurpose pigment. The paint takes well and can be preserved for a long period for its minute particle size and high purity.

It can be also used in fine arts and ceramics, papermaking and synthetic resin and cosmetics industries.

In recent years, the newly-developed pigment has been applied to many construction projects and units across the country including Samjiyon City.

The demand for it is growing higher. This pigment is now produced at the Songyong Paint Factory and other paint factories.
