Chonsangryolchabunyajido, Astronomical Chart of Kogyryo
Koguryo’s astronomical chart carved on stone was in the Walled City of Pyongyang originally, but thrown into a river by foreign invaders. Its rubbed copy was later discovered and, on the basis of this, Chonsangryolchabunyajido was made in 1395. On the chart are marked 1 467 stars centring on the North Pole, forming 282 constellations, and the positions of spring and autumn equinoxes and the coordinates of each of 28 fundamental stars.
