Korean Photo, Book and Art Exhibition Opens in China

A Korean photo, book and art exhibition was opened in Beijing on April 9 in the joint name of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, DPRK-China Friendship Association, Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and China-Korea Friendship Association to mark the first anniversary of the first China visit of
Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and China.

Displayed at the venue of the exhibition were photos showing the immortal feats of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for the development of DPRK-China friendship.

Present at the inaugural ceremony were the vice-president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and other figures of various strata, a delegation of the DPRK-China Friendship Association led by Chairman Pak Kyong Il, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and the DPRK charge d'affaires ad interim to China and his embassy officials.

Congratulatory speeches were made at the opening ceremony.

The participants walked round the venue of the exhibition after the ceremony.

The exhibition will last until May 8.
