President Kim Il Sung Praised by Russian Media

Russian media carried special write-ups illustrated with the photo of smiling President Kim Il Sung, his photos, a photo and picture showing President Kim Il Sung standing together with Chairman Kim Jong Il between March 20 and 29 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the President.

The newspaper Nakhodkinski Rabochi said in an article titled "The great man's history goes on" that President Kim Il Sung accomplished the cause of national liberation by waging the arduous anti-Japanese war and turned the DPRK into a true country of the people and a country strong in independence.

It said that the President was a world's elder statesman who rendered material and moral assistance to developing countries in their building of a new society and made a contribution to the development of the non-aligned movement.

Russia's online magazine Lemchich in an article said that the DPRK is a country based on the people-first principle.

It said that the Korean people call the train used by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il a "go-to-the-people train".

The newspaper Byvor in an article under the title of "President Kim Il Sung and the DPRK-China friendship" introduced the feats he performed for the development of the DPRK-China friendship.

A Russian website said in an article titled "The estimation of history" that President Kim Il Sung was a great man admired by all people, irrespective of ideology, social system, political view and religious belief.

It elaborated on what prominent figures of different countries in the world said in praise of him.
