Grand Mass Gymnastics and Artistic Performance Evokes Positive Response

Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, noted in his New Year Address that the sector of art and culture produced and staged a grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance last year, evoking positive response from at home and abroad and vividly showing the advanced level of Juche-oriented art and its peculiar features and advantages.

Last year, the grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance "The Glorious Country" was produced as a monumental masterpiece on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the DPRK and staged at the May Day Stadium for scores of days from September 9.

The performance showed with rich artistic description the victorious course of 70-year-long history of the DPRK which has been developed into a dignified and powerful country under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Impressive and attractive gymnastic and dance movements, large-scale background and fantastic scenes based on ultra-modern technology caused a great sensation among the audience.

Many foreign viewers expressed high admiration at the performance, saying that it is the greatest masterpiece of the world which can be seen only in Juche Korea and that the DPRK only can stage such excellent and perfect large-scale artistic work performed by myriads of persons.
