U.S. Should Not Impudently Style Itself as a Human Rights Judge

The U.S. Department of State recently submitted a "report on human rights abuses in north Korea and inspection of them" to the Congress. And the Department of Treasury issued the third "sanctions step for tackling the human rights performance in north Korea," which added three institutions and seven individuals of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the "special sanctions target list" on suspicion of their involvement in human rights abuses. Against this backdrop, the U.S. Congress orchestrated an anti-DPRK farce by letting a bete noire make testimony about human rights abuses in the DPRK at a hearing of the House of Representatives Foreign Relations Committee.

The facts show that the U.S. human rights racket against the DPRK is getting frantic like the sanctions and pressure and war moves.

The U.S. persistent anti-DPRK human rights racket based on false information is a blatant challenge and intolerable insult to the dignified DPRK, the best cradle of genuine life for the popular masses in the world. It is also the last-ditch effort to check our advance.

It was the biggest mistake for the Trump group to calculate that their tough sanctions and nuclear threats would make the DPRK step back.

The U.S. should not impudently style itself as a human rights judge but mind its own poor human rights records in its land where racial discrimination, gun-related crimes and all other social crimes prevail.
