Kim Jong Un Meets Song Tao Again

Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, once again met and had a talk with Song Tao, head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on Tuesday.

The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un congratulated the Chinese art troupe led by Song Tao upon its successful visit to the DPRK under the special care and expectation of the parties and governments of the two countries and highly appreciated the efforts made by the Chinese comrades to brilliantly decorate the 31st April Spring Friendship Art Festival.

He said the art troupe's visit to the DPRK this time was a very good one that brought about excellent results in the good period. It further deepened the special ties and the feelings of mutual respect between the two parties and the two peoples of the DPRK and China and set a good model of DPRK-China cultural and art exchange, he added.

Song Tao noted with deep emotion that the Korean people most warmly and grandly welcomed them with fraternal friendship wherever they went, adding that through the visit they keenly felt the particular and kind feelings of the Korean party and people toward the Chinese party and people.

He exchanged with Song Tao in-depth views on several matters for activating exchanges and visits in different fields and further strengthening the strategic and tactical cooperation between the two parties.

He asked Song Tao to certainly convey his warm greetings to General Secretary Xi Jinping, the best friend and closest comrade of the Korean people who dispatched the art troupe in the significant period to greatly delight the Korean people, and to the Chinese people.
