Profitable Wind Power Generation System Developed

Scientists of Kim Chaek University of Technology have recently developed a wind power generation system with high security and reliability and improved technical specifications in the course of studying methods to use natural energy sources.

The system without any complicated control device is designed to ensure high generating efficiency even in the area with low wind velocity.

Based on in-depth studies of the developing trend of windmill around the world, they confirmed optimized its performance indices through repeated simulations.

And they pooled efforts with the technical staff of the Taean Electrical Appliances Factory to solve sci-tech problems arising in the manufacture of windmill.

Researcher Kim Yong San said the cost-effective system makes it possible to easily adapt the existing windmills with less labour.

The system is now winning favour in many units across the country.
