A 12 000-ton Cargo Ship Sets Sail

The Ryongnam Dockyard built a 12 000-ton cargo ship Jangsusan.

A departing ceremony of the ship took place on December 23.

It was attended by O Su Yong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Yang Sung Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kang Jong Gwan, minister of Land and Maritime Transport, officials concerned, and officials and employees of the dockyard.

O Su Yong conveyed a letter of thanks from the WPK Central Committee to the workers, technicians and officials of the dockyard

The Minister of Land and Maritime Transport delivered an address to be followed by speeches.

A resolution was adopted at the ceremony.

Then, the participants looked round the cargo ship.

After the ceremony, the cargo ship left the port.
