Educators, researchers and scientists of the DPRK are living in excellent houses provided by the state free of charge.
Several years have passed, they still remember the exciting events that they received the modern dwelling houses.
After the construction of Unha Scientists Street for the scientists and researchers of the State Academy of Sciences in September Juche 102 (2013), houses for officials in science and education sectors began to be built one after another.
It reflects the great will of the Workers’ Party of Korea to provide excellent living conditions to educators, researchers and scientists who devote themselves to scientific research and training talents for the prosperity of the country.

The state took a measure to build dwelling houses for teachers and researchers in all provinces to provide them with excellent living conditions.
In March 2016, the construction of Ryomyong Street was declared. The project was designed to newly build over 40 blocks of skyscraping, high-rise and multi-storey apartment houses for over 4 800 flats and other establishments in the vast area of over 90 hectares and reconstruct over 70 buildings.
