Papers Praise Chairman Kim Jong Il as Eternal Leader and Sun of Juche

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Friday in their editorials commemorate the 10th anniversary of demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

They say that Kim Jong Il, the eternal leader of our Party and revolution and the sun of Juche, imbues the people with boundless and invincible strength and fighting will and implants the firm faith in them, always finding himself among them.

He, born as the son of the guerillas in Mt Paektu, had dedicated himself to accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche and to the prosperity of socialist Korea till the last moments of his revolutionary life, undergoing all sorts of hardships that no one else in the world experienced, says Rodong Sinmun, and continues:

Left indelible in the history of his revolutionary leadership is his indefatigable efforts made to strengthen our Party into the dignified party of President Kim Il Sung that achieved oneness in the idea and leadership and to energetically guide the struggle for resolutely defending the revolutionary traditions of Paektu and the unity and cohesion of the revolutionary ranks.

As there was a long journey of Songun leadership made by the Chairman to visit the outposts for defending the country with his do-or-die spirit and incredible energy, the winning streaks were recorded in the unprecedented struggle to defend socialism and our people could lead a peaceful life free from war in the long-running confrontation with the imperialists.

The Chairman gave field guidance to every nook and corner of the country, going among the people all his life and incessantly continued his forced march of field guidance even in the blizzards of winter and the sweltering weather and at midnight, just having uncomfortable naps and rice-balls. He is, indeed, the greatest man and the great sage of the revolution all the people on this land follow with their deep affection and sincerity.
