Farmers in Kaesong Move into New Houses

One hundred and tens of houses were newly built in Kaesong City.

The cozy houses with living rooms, kitchens, toilets and storehouses to ensure convenience in the living of farmers and fruit trees planted in the courtyards add more beauty to the landscape of villages in Haephyong-ri of Kaephung District and Sinhung-ri of Phanmun District.

The houses peculiar to the countryside, threshing grounds, animal sheds and pumping stations built in the two ris facelifted their appearances.

Ceremonies for moving into new houses took place in the above-said villages.

They were attended by officials concerned and farmers.

Congratulatory speeches were made at the ceremonies. House licenses were given to the residents amid loud applause of participants, and oath-taking speeches were made.

Then, villagers began moving into their new houses with cheerful dancing.

Officials visited families that had just moved into their new houses to congratulate them.
