Love for Posterity

The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) decided to adopt it as a party policy to supply all the children across the country with milk and other nutritious foods.

This is another step of love taken with the WPK's noble outlook on posterity.

In their lifetime, President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il bestowed all kinds of love and benevolence on the children, calling them king and treasure of the country.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who is identical to the President and the Chairman, has taken warm care of the children across the country. It is his noble intention and steadfast will that all the children in the country should be well fed and dressed and under the socialist system there should be no child in trouble or sickness.

Visiting the Okryu Children's Hospital under construction in July Juche 102 (2013), he made sure that the hospital was equipped with modern facilities at any cost as it is a comprehensive treatment base for children. When he visited the Pyongyang Bag Factory in January 2017, he said that he regards it as his happiness, not hardship, to bring up the children though it requires much labor.

Looking round the Mindulle Notebook Factory, he called for producing more quality notebooks with parental affection and, visiting the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory, he said that the factory is in special interest of all mothers across the country. Giving field guidance to a fishery station run by the Korean People's Army, he urged it to provide orphans with more fishes. And at Pyongyang Baby Home and Pyongyang Orphanage he asked the nurses and teachers to well bring up the children as their real mothers would do.

Always stressing that nothing should be spared for the children, the General Secretary has worked heart and soul and devoted all his efforts to bringing up millions of children in the country to be the happiest and excellent ones in the world.
