A Girl Mallima Rider
In the DPRK there are many forerunners in the Mallima era who are devoting themselves for the prosperity of their country.
Among them is a girl silk reeler who fulfilled her six-year quota of the national economic plan in a year. She is Kim Jong Hyang at youth workteam of workshop No. 3 of Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill. She has worked there for 10 years since 2007.
She was so strenuous and vying with others in work that she has never failed to carry out her assignments. But she began to review her conduct contenting herself with small success from a severe cold day in January 2009. That day Chairman
She was deeply moved at the sight of the Chairman visiting her worksite, busy as he was with his ceaseless journey to the frontline units of the People’s Army in defence of the socialist country. She made up her mind to brace herself up in order to relieve his cares about the people’s living.
The following day she initiated a campaign of undertaking many spindles.
At the start, she had many troubles for her intense desire, but she could not shrink from difficulties. She could not go to sleep for thinking of the image of the Chairman. So she would repeat thread-reeling thousands of times till late at night and made redoubled efforts to find out a rational working method and knack, covering much longer distance than others. As a result, she beat her two-year quota of the national economic plan for two consecutive years from 2010 and three-year quota in 2012. Through this campaign for increased production, she wrought a miracle of carrying out her four-year quota in 2015.
2016 was a significant year of glory for her together with her labour feats. In hearty response to the call of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea on launching the 70-day campaign of loyalty in the run-up to the Seventh Congress of the WPK, she worked day and night and thus hit her yearly national economic plan by March 13 and honoured her two-year quota during the above-mentioned campaign (February 23 to May 2).
On June 20, 2016, Supreme Leader
Expressing his expectation and conviction that the officials and workers of the silk mill would make a dynamic advance by giving full rein to Mallima provided by the WPK so as to become a model of the whole country in the Mallima era, too, as their forerunners did in the spirit of Chollima provided by the great leaders
Jong Hyang took the lead in the general march of workers who were firmly determined to live up to the trust of their Supreme Leader.
She worked even on off-days and holidays in order to save time. Her mother, too, spent her vacation at the silk mill, giving supplies to the members of her daughter’s workteam and helping them in their work. At last Jong Hyang hit her target for the 200-day campaign. (The silk thread she reeled over the past seven years amounts to the quotas for 24 years and 8 months of the national economic plan.)
The State highly appreciated her who performed miracles and labour feats with ardent patriotism and loyalty for the sake of the country. She was awarded
Thanks to the labour exploits performed by such laudable young people and other workers, the DPRK is undergoing face-lifting day by day and will surely emerge as a socialist power in the near future.
