THAAD Deployment Denounced
by S. Korean Women

Members of the women's organizations in different parts of south Korea, including Kimchon and Songju, reportedly gathered in Seoul on January 2 to hold a press conference rejecting THAAD deployment by the puppet defence ministry.

Speakers at the press conference recalled that the women have staged candlelight struggle since the ministry's announcement of its decision on THAAD deployment.

They said that THAAD is war hardware and a factor disturbing peace, adding that it will bring benefits only to the US and Japan, regardless of the security of south Korea.

They warned that if the Lotte side offers a site for THAAD deployment, they would launch a campaign for boycotting Lotte goods.
