Sci-Tech Complex Inaugurated

An inauguration ceremony of the Sci-Tech Complex took place with splendour in the presence of supreme leader
Also attended senior Party and state officials, military and civilian officials, service personnel and builders who were seconded to the construction project, assistants, officials and other employees of the complex, officials of ministries, national agencies and institutions and enterprises in Pyongyang, scientists, educators, youth and students and working people.
Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, delivered an inaugural address.
Amid the playing of a welcome music, the supreme leader cut the tape.
He, together with senior Party, state and army officials, looked round the complex.
Noting that the completion of the complex shows how much the Party values the science front, he said that the institution should make a tangible contribution to making all the people well versed in science and technology and developing ours into a sci-tech power and a talented nation by effectively running the national asset.


He stressed that the education sector should make painstaking efforts to completely change the educational conditions and landscape in the current knowledge economy era, so as to bring up a large contingent of talented personnel who would do their parts in stepping up the efforts to build a socialist economic power.
