Visit to Fishery Station

He highly appreciated the achievement made by the station’s officials and fishermen who have hit the annual fishing target ahead of schedule.

Making the rounds of the station, he inquired about details of fishing and management.
Seeing the stacks of fish in the tanks for pickling and cold storage chambers, he said they are a sight to behold, describing it as a big success for the station to catch thousands of tons of fish only in a few days.
The station, he noted, should work out and push ahead with an ambitious goal to boost the annual output significantly in the foreseeable future by drawing on this year’s achievement.


He took some measures, saying that the station should be turned into a modern fishery base which goes well with the seaside scenery so that it could be flawless even in the distant future.
Greatly encouraging the employees, he said he hoped that they would remodel the station as intended by the Party as befit those who had made history for the “gold sea”, and greet the Seventh Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea with more wonderful achievement.
