Trial Run of New Subway Car Held

A trial run of new subway car was held in the presence of Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, First Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army.

Supreme  leader  Kim  Jong  Un  arrived  at  the  Kaeson  Subway  Station  for  the  trial  run  at  22:30 on November 19.

He made a round trip between Kaeson, Thongil, Sungni, Ponghwa and Yonggwang stations on the new subway car to get familiar with its trial run.

He was very pleased to take the car manufactured by the scientists, technicians and workers of the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and the relevant sectors, he said, adding that he feels confident that nothing is impossible if they rely on their own resources and science and technology.

Noting that the successful production of the homemade subway car is a proud achievement which inspires the workers, scientists and technicians across the country to greater feats of labour, he repeatedly expressed satisfaction.

He then posed for a photograph with the developers who attended the trial run.
