Visit to Bier of Ri Ul Sol

Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, First Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army, on November 8 expressed his deep sorrow at the bier of Ri Ul Sol, member of the WPK Central Committee, deputy to the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly and marshal of the KPA.

He was accompanied by Hwang Pyong So, Pak Yong Sik, Ri Yong Gil and other commanding officers of the KPA.

A wreath sent by the supreme leader was seen in front of the bier.

Also seen there were the wreaths sent by the WPK Central Committee and Central Military Commission, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly, the DPRK Cabinet and the military organ.

The supreme leader paid a silent tribute to the anti-Japanese war veteran who grew up to be a revolutionary fighter and competent military official filled with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu under the special love and care of the peerlessly great persons of Mt Paektu, safeguarded the Party and leader at the risk of his life in the van and performed distinguished feats in building up the KPA as the mainstay of the Songun-based revolution.

He looked round the bier with bitter grief over the loss of the veteran revolutionary faithful to the Party.
