Sports Contest of Diplomatic Corps Begins in DPRK
A sports contest of diplomatic corps in the DPRK has begun at the Rungna People's Sports Park in Pyongyang on October 21.
Song Ki Chol, a section chief of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, said:
The contest is attended by teams of Russian, Mongolian, Chinese embassies and teams of Asian countries, European countries and UN missions in the DPRK.
Football, volleyball and basketball games are to be held on a knock-out basis.
In the preliminary volleyball matches, teams of Russian and Mongolian embassies and UN missions won by 2:0 against their rivals respectively.
The contest will run until October 25 and colourful amusement games are planned to be held that day.
