Participation in Inauguration Ceremony
of Hero Youth Power Station

The inauguration ceremony of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station which has spruced up as a landmark of the youthful power thanks to the policy of attaching importance to young people of the Workers’ Party of Korea was held on October 3 in grand style.

Kim Jong Un, First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, First Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army, participated in the ceremony. As he appeared in the ceremony venue, he was welcomed by thunderous cheers of the participants of the event. The members of the Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade presented him with bouquets.

All the participants extended the greatest glory and warmest gratitude to Kim Jong Un who adorned most valuably the painstaking efforts and feats of patriotic loyalty of the young people of Paektu with golden letters in the history of the Party and the country and provided a treasured weapon for sure victory to usher in a golden age of the youthful Paektusan nation by attending the ceremony although he was so busy leading the Songun revolution.

He conveyed warm congratulations to the builders who have implemented Chairman Kim Jong Il’s instructions brilliantly and performed the most significant feats of labour for the 70th founding anniversary of the Party by determinedly overcoming obstacles with gem-like loyalty for the Party and the leader and patriotic enthusiasm and completing the construction of the power station within the time set by the Party and on the level required by it.

Saying that all the builders who have demonstrated the greatness and validity of the Party’s idea of attaching importance to young people while surmounting the wilderness of nature beyond imagination are all heroes and heroines, Kim Jong Un had a photo session with them in front of the dam of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station No. 1, a crystallization and witness to the devotion of patriotic loyalty and heroic feats of the young Korean people.
