Pyongyang Grand Theatre

The theatre covers an area of over 75 000㎡ and accommodates 1 270 people.

Its auditorium consists of three storeys and the seats are arranged harmoniously.

Such revolutionary operas as The Sea of Blood, The Flower Girl, The Fate of a Self-Defence Corps Man, Tell O Forest and A True Daughter of the Party were staged and different political events including the Fourth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and artistic performances given on hundreds of occasions at the theatre.
